I love good health and fitness and fun and life and I’m 50+
This blog is for all those women who hit their 40s and 50s and think that’s it, it’s all over!! If you think you don’t have time for exercise or you have no idea what healthy eating really is… then read my blog! oh and in all that – I’m single (serial singledom) and my dating life can be somewhat awkward, amusing and downright catastrophic at times 😛
I like running and run 3-4 times a week, usually between 4 and 6k and I participate in fun runs. Most of my fun runs are also fundraisers, so I like the idea that I run for fun and an element of helping others. I go to the gym and sometimes swim (at the pool, not brave enough for ocean swimming). I also have a kayak and paddle about a bit on the river and I have the cutest dog and walk him daily too 🙂
I eat healthily (my idea of healthy – fresh food mostly and minimal processed food) pretty much all the time and yes I occasionally have a treat, but I think my definition of occasional is different to most people! And for me a treat is maybe some chocolate and sometimes a fresh mango – really depends on the mood.
